a bi-polar child. Steve has not only knowledge of special needs

else to be aware of that child’s weakness. He holds their attention
and respect. My child will never be the same! When we started, he

The Centerville Kuk Sul Do Academy constantly strives to improve upon excellence. School owner and Head Instructor Steve Keary works for nothing but the best for you and your child. With over 12 years martial arts experience and a dedication to preserving the Traditional Korean Martial Art of Kuk Sul Do, Steve diligently trains to continue his knowledge under his instructor, Bu Kwan Jang Nym Jason Zak, and 10th Degree Black Belt and Founder of Kuk Sul Do, Chong Jae Nym (Grandmaster) Yang.
Steve believes one of the reasons the Centerville Kuk Sul Do Academy is so successful is the teaching methods used in the school. Just because someone is a high rank or can kick high doesn't mean you can teach martial arts and character development effectively. The Centerville Kuk Sul Do Academy's method of "Edutainment" (education combined with entertainment) not only teaches students top notch martial arts, but makes it fun, causing students to love to train and work hard!
On top of this, Steve has had numerous training clinics with top psychiatrists and psychologists on how to specifically use martial arts to help with ADD/ ADHD/ and Asperger's Syndrome (including other disabilities and behavioral disorders). The Centerville Kuk Sul Do Academy started with just a few students when Steve started teaching on the side after graduating from Cedarville College.
